Most people make the decision to volunteer at church for a couple reasons. First, they want to belong to something greater than themselves. They want to make friends and connect with others on another level – outside of their normal sphere of influence. The second – and perhaps more compelling reason – they get involved is because they want to make a difference. I bet you’re no different.
Here at NorthStar, we offer a variety of ways for you to serve and make an impact in the lives of others. It may be holding a door open and smiling and saying “hello,” or maybe pouring a cup of coffee for someone, or hanging out with a group of third graders for an hour. Or, maybe you can help find seats for people as they enter the worship auditorium, or pass an offering basket. Perhaps you have a knack for sound and lights, and want to learn more about being a part of our media team. The point is…there’s a TON of ways for you to pitch in. And, when you do, you’ll be shocked at how God uses you to bless others – and how He blesses you too!
